Workshops ‘Share your research with the broad audience’

Your organisation does interesting research in the life sciences. The research findings are promising and you want to share this with colleagues, investors, patients, clients or journalists. But how do you go about this? What should you tell your audience? And how do you make sure that you hold the attention of your potential reader or listener?

The workshops provide you with the tools to do this. You will learn how to:

  • Get to know and understand your reader or listener
  • Discover your own appealing and exciting story
  • Write up this story in a clear and attractive way
  • Spread your stories

Our workshops are practical. We start with a small amount of theory, but after a while you get started with your own project. We work as much as possible with the participants’ own texts or presentations. These may be blogs, press releases, texts for websites or a spoken pitch of three minutes.

I work together with Rob Buiter. He is a science writer too and is working for more then 20 years for ‘Vroege Vogels’, a nature radio programme on the Sunday morning.
